Frequently asked questions
What is LMTS Development Ltd?
LMTS Development Ltd is an independent software publisher registered in England and Wales (company no. 17148125). We are building native consumer applications for Apple platforms with a focus on privacy, security, and user agency. We are not a financial institution, an exchange, or a custodian.
Do you have a product available today?
Not yet. Our first application, working title Limitless Wallet, is in active development and has not been released to the App Store. This site will be updated when it becomes available, and a TestFlight beta may be announced in advance.
What will Limitless Wallet do? Planned
It is intended to be a self-custodial wallet for managing public-blockchain digital assets on iPhone and iPad. The user generates a wallet on the device; private keys and the recovery phrase are stored in the device's Secure Enclave / Keychain and never transmitted to LMTS or any third party. Transactions are signed on the device and broadcast directly to public blockchain nodes.
What it is not: it is not an exchange, not a brokerage, not a custodian. It does not facilitate Initial Coin Offerings or trading in securities or derivatives. It does not perform on-device cryptocurrency mining.
Can LMTS recover my wallet if I lose my recovery phrase?
No, and this is by design. Self-custodial software gives you sole control of your cryptographic keys. We do not operate, and will not operate, a server-side copy of your seed phrase or your private keys. If you lose access to your device and to your recovery phrase, there is no technical means by which LMTS or any third party can restore access to the funds.
We therefore strongly recommend that you write your recovery phrase down on paper or steel, store it offline in a secure place, and never share it with anyone — including anyone claiming to be LMTS support.
How do I back up my recovery phrase safely?
When Limitless Wallet ships, you will be prompted to reveal the 12-word recovery phrase during initial setup, after authenticating with Face ID or your device passcode. We recommend:
- Writing the words on paper or engraving them on a metal backup plate.
- Storing the backup in a secure physical location — for example, a home safe or a bank deposit box.
- Avoiding digital storage of the phrase: do not take a screenshot, do not email it to yourself, do not paste it into a notes app or a password manager that synchronises to the cloud unless that manager is end-to-end encrypted with a key only you control.
- Never sharing the phrase with anyone. LMTS support will never ask for it.
How are transactions broadcast to the network?
Transactions are constructed on your device, signed with your private key inside the operating system's hardware-backed key store, and then broadcast to public blockchain nodes — either nodes we operate ourselves or independent, reputable RPC providers. We do not operate a custodial settlement layer; we simply forward your signed transaction to the network exactly as you authorised it.
Does the app collect personal data?
Our applications are designed to operate without identifying you. We do not require account creation to use core functionality, we do not include advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across apps and websites for the purposes of the App Tracking Transparency framework. Where any data is collected (for example, optional crash diagnostics), it is collected only with your explicit opt-in. The full description is in our Privacy Notice.
Where is the app available?
When released, Limitless Wallet will be distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store. Distribution will be limited to jurisdictions where its features are lawful and in which we hold, or rely on a properly licensed partner that holds, any necessary permissions. Specifically, any features that require regulatory licensing (for example, on-ramp/off-ramp fiat conversions or exchange functionality) will be made available only where such licensing is in place.
How do I report a security issue?
Please write to security@lmts.app with a description of the issue and steps to reproduce. We treat security reports as confidential, acknowledge receipt within 72 hours, and aim to provide a substantive update within 14 days. We will not pursue legal action against good-faith security research that respects user privacy, does not degrade service availability, and avoids the destruction or exfiltration of data.
How do I exercise my data-protection rights?
You can exercise your rights under the UK GDPR — including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection — by writing to privacy@lmts.app. Requests are normally answered within one month. Full detail is in our Privacy Notice.
For App Store reviewers
If you are reviewing an LMTS submission on behalf of Apple, please contact legal@lmts.app. We will respond within one business day with any demonstration credentials, testing notes, or additional regulatory documentation you require, and we are happy to schedule a screen-share walkthrough at your convenience.
For clarity, all current and planned LMTS products are submitted under our organisation Apple Developer Program account (LMTS Development Ltd) in compliance with App Review Guidelines 3.1.5(i), 3.1.5(ii), 3.1.5(iv), and 5.1.1(ix). We do not facilitate on-device cryptocurrency mining, ICOs, or any regulated activity for which we do not hold the necessary licensing.
